spelling bee

In January 2011 I attended a spelling bee, there was  lots of fifth graders attending to. When the fifth grade spelling bee was over, I had won first  (1)place I could not believe it I was so excited I was jumping around alot and screaming last year I had tried out for the spelling bee but I had spelled a word wrong so I was out and the word was sculpture and then there was a school wide spelling bee and I was in third (3) place and ryan  a guy in Ms.Leakes class had won first (1) place and he got a gigantic throphy and i got a small one but I was okay with that.On march 12, 2011 ryan is going to duke to compete agianst the other people who won first (1) place.

frankie's

On September 25, 2010 we went to Frankie's with my grandparent's to celebrate my brother's birthday!. the first ride we went to was to the drop zone, the second ride we went on was the kiddie go carts. The third ride my brother and i went on was the water boats. There was this go cart ride that was for 16 or older and if you weren't you have to ride with some one older then you and I went with my grandpa and my brother went with my father.after that we went to a few other games and we went back to the go carts there was only one double so my brother and my dad went on the double and my grandpa and I went on the singles it was fun but people kept on bumping into me. At the end of the ride i had drove into a guy and his son on accident, we were all OK.

My Day

Today was so horrible because there is this boy named Sean and he was driving me crazy, because for one he had laughed for me geting a warning from the hall monitor. Then he went to this girl named Emily told her about what happend and I was so mad and he was saying to her that look she still mad and I talked to him and i was so mad.At playtime he did another thing cause when we were playing tag i was it and when ii was getting Sean he was running and kicking mud at me on purpose. That was my horrible day.

Sledding

My friend Hannah, Josh and I went sledding on Hannah's boogie board.  It was fun.  It went really fast. When Hannah and I sled down the hill she fell off and I fell on top of her.  She could not breathe because her face was in the snow.  Then she got her head out and we continued to sled.  The next day all three of us went sledding again.  It was so much fun.

Snowy Night

Tonight  it was snowing.  My brother and I were happy.   My mom said that we could take a walk.  We got bundled up.  When we got outside my mom said that we could go get my neighbor.  She came outside with her aunt, who is eight years old.   When we were walking my neighbor named Hannah was very cold and walking kind of slowly.   I asked her if she wanted to go on my back.  She said yes.  It was a fun walk.  When we came back inside we were all wet.  Our hair was very wet and snowy.  We drank hot chocolate with whipped cream.  It was delicious.

My Girl Scout Trip

Last weekend, I went to the aquarium and I slept with the sharks. I didn't literally sleep with them, but I slept next to Mira, Jemma and Izzy. First, when we got there, Stephanie was waiting for us to get there. Andy was waiting inside for us. He told us where to put our stuff. We watched a movie, made our own t-shirts, ate pizza and touched lots of different animals. We also were able to take a tour of the aquarium. I loved my visit to the aquarium. I learned that female horseshoe crabs are bigger than male horseshoe crabs. I got a Girl Scout badge that says, I slept with the sharks. It was really fun. It was the best Girl Scout trip I have been on so far.
